LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar, Vice President Mian Abuzar Shad, Honorary Consul Nanchuan Industrial Park Akhtar Nazir Khan, Executive Committee Members Tanvir Ahmad Sufi, Mian Zahid Javaid, Kashif Anwar, Mehmood Ghaznvi and Nasir Hameed also spoke on the occasion.
The Director General Nanchuan Industrial Park Business Development Centre said that the Centre is the latest example of Chinese efforts to increase Pakistani entrepreneurs’ links with their Chinese counterparts. He said that connections like these are important because entrepreneurs unlock growth. Honorary Consul Nanchuan Industrial Park Akhtar Nazir Khan said that he accepted the honorary consulship on the condition that Chinese businessmen will also invest in Pakistan if they are seeking investment from Pakistan for China.
He said that Chinese investors are interested to invest in mining, marble, energy, chemical and other potential economic sectors of Pakistan. He said that business-friendly environment is the pre-requisite to attract the foreign and local investment. He observed that business centre aimed at organising events throughout the country to build skills of entrepreneurs and seek investment and exchange technologies.
The LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar, speaking on the occasion, said that Nanchuan Industrial Park Business Development Centre will help strengthen economic relations among the businessmen of the two countries. He said that the Nanchuan Industrial Park Business Development Centre will connect Pakistani entrepreneurs with leading Chinese entrepreneurs and investors to exchange experiences and discuss business trends, leading to ultimate investment in both countries. He said that the promotion of commercial activities is of supreme importance for economic stability in any country.
